In 2006, two brothers founded YETI Coolers with a simple mission: "to build the cooler we would use every day if it existed." A cooler built for the serious outdoor enthusiast, not the mass discounter. A cooler that can withstand the rigors we would put it through in the field and on the water. Something that simply wouldn't break. The two brothers decided early on that product innovation would come from necessity and first-hand experience - not market research and data analysis.
