Golden Ale

Golden Ale, Blond Ale

Golden Ale or also called Blond Ale is the American version to the Pale Ale. The taste is in contrast to Pale Ale somewhat lighter and the color rather pale blond. Usually Golden Ales have an alcohol content of about 4-5 Vol.% and are pleasantly easy to drink. This modern type of beer was invented as part of the American craft beer revolution in the early 1990s. The brewing method has similarities to English Pale Ale as well as Kölsch. In the meantime, Blond Ales have become very popular and are brewed all over the world.
