Pilsner

Named after the Bohemian city of Pilsen, the Pilsner, Pilsener or simply Pils is a bottom-fermented beer with increased hop content and thus strong hop aroma. The Pilsner brewing style is the most common brewing style in Germany and the Czech Republic today. The main difference from a pale or lager, is the bitterness, which is achieved by the stronger hopping.
