Ponäly from Sarnern OW
The Swiss microbrewery Ponäly from Sarnen in Obwalden began turning their first hops into real treats 10 years ago. Ponäly, that's Per, Jonas and Dani and they brew "beer from the other guys". Great passion and a penchant for perfection characterise Ponäly's creative creations.
After seven years of brewing their beers here and there, sometimes in a garage and sometimes in a forest, Ponäly opened their first permanent brewery and immediately recorded several successes with awards.
As demand grew steadily, the space in the Gaden in Kerns quickly became too small and in 2020 ponäly GmbH was then founded and a larger brewery was built by means of crowdfunding, which began full operations in 2021.
