LERVIG is an independently owned craft brewery in Stavanger, Norway. It was founded in 2003 and in the first years produced mainly pilsner beer. In 2010, the brewery hired the American Mike Murphy as head brewer and this was also the brewery's turning point. Mike Murphy's craft beers hit like a bomb. Today, they make a wide range of beers, from easy-drinking pale ales and pilsners to bold and complex barrel-aged stouts, sours and barleywines.
Lervig Brewery's goal is to brew the best beers in the world, and to achieve that, they stay true to their beliefs and brew the beers that they themselves enjoy drinking. Lervig Brewery prides itself on being a brewery that never sacrifices quality for profitability, and are constantly working outside their comfort zone.
