BrewDog

BrewDog from Ellon, Aberdeenshire in Scotland

BrewDog are the European pioneers in craft beer. When the craft beer scene in the USA was already growing rapidly, the scene in Europe was still in its infancy - until BrewDog from Scotland came along and turned everything upside down. Since 2007, BrewDog has been winning over beer lovers with great beer specialities. The best-known beers are probably the Punk IPA, Hazy Jane, Elvis Juice or the BrewDog Pale Ale. BrewDog's range includes an enormously wide selection and their success has proven them right. Outstanding quality and sophisticated marketing brought BrewDog's beer around the globe.

BrewDog - a success story

Their motto: Craft Beer For the People is indicative of their success. From the beginning, BrewDog founders James Watt and Martin Dickie showed inventiveness, courage and total dedication to craft beer. BrewDog has done pioneering work in Europe and paved the way for many other craft beer breweries.

But BrewDog also started small. In the beginning, the two founders bottled the beers by hand and sold them out of their car boots at weekly markets. But by 2009, BrewDog was the rising star and the alternative beer brand to the big breweries that grew the fastest. Especially the Punk IPA experienced a real hype. Added to this was perfect marketing and the Equity For Punks shareholder programme. With this programme, fans could buy shares in the brewery.

BrewDog tests boundaries

Experimental and innovative - that's how BrewDog can be described. They left nothing out. Whether a beer with 32% vol. alcohol or beer packed in stuffed animals. Of course, there were also negative headlines for this, but BrewDog always had the attention on their side. In 2011, for example, BrewDog opened their bar in London with a real tank, promoting their fight against industrial beer. BrewDog is certainly anything but normal and so you can also find all their recipes online. This "being different" is probably exactly part of their success Story.

BrewDog - on and on

Success, good beer and growth, that's BrewDog. Today, BrewDog no longer brews their beers in Fraserburgh, but in Ellon, Scotland, Brisbane, Australia, Columbus, USA and Berlin, Germany. International and always successful. However, BrewDog not only runs various brewery locations, but also pubs, bars and even hotels. With these locations they also support the local craft beer scene by always reserving some taps for other breweries.

We source the BrewDog beers from Germany, which are brewed in Berlin. This shortens the delivery routes and ensures fresh supplies of fresh beer.
